The Young Dubliners are an acclaimed American band known for their vibrant fusion of Celtic rock and folk music. Formed in 1988 in Los Angeles by frontman Keith Roberts and bassist Dave O’Neill, the group sought to blend traditional Irish influences with contemporary rock elements. Their dynamic sound features a mix of instruments, including the fiddle, accordion, and bodhrán, alongside electric guitars and drums. Their debut album, Erin’s Green, released in 1994, showcased their unique style and quickly gained attention in the Celtic music scene. Subsequent albums, such as Real World (1996), solidified their reputation, featuring both original songs and traditional Irish tunes infused with a rock edge.

The Young Dubliners have developed a loyal fan base through energetic live performances at festivals and venues across the U.S. and internationally.
