NOTD a Swedish house duo was formed in 2017 by Tobias Danielsson and Samuel Brandt. They have cultivated a fanbase by remixing huge artists like Sia, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendez, DJ Khalid, and Rhianna as well as having their original electronic music. Danielsson and Brandt met on Soundcloud and began making remixes together. They would later find out that they would attend the same high school. The name “NOTD” was created by combining two letters of each of their last names and reversing them. Their debut single “Summer of Love” was released in 2017. Later that year, their remix of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of you” was nominated for remix of the year at the Electronic Music Awards. In 2018, their breakout hit “I wanna know” charted in the top 10 in the US and it was platinum certified in Canada, Sweden, and Australia. Their top charting single “So close” was nominated for dance song of the year at the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
