The band originally met while performing as the house cover band for Wayward Theatre Company and decided to try writing something of their own. They have spent the last year together performing at local venues and working on new music. Pity Party brings together a wide range of musical backgrounds and influences to craft songs with pop sheen and rock and roll heart. They have put together an energetic and unforgettable live show. Come party with Pity Party!
Sylvia May & The Maydays
When Sylvia May isn’t playing and writing solo, she’s playing with her whole band, The Maydays! They are a talented four-piece group focused on making Alternative Indie Rock music together. The influence of The Maydays merges Sylvia’s raw and honest acoustic writing with a jammy rock sound that compares to The Beaches, Melodies Echo Chamber, and even Coldplay. They just released their debut album “Won’t Fall in Love” and are up and coming in the Minneapolis music scene.
SPIDERLILY
Spiderlily is a Twin-Cities based alternative rock band with a passion for the local scene. Spiderlily’s core is to experiment with different genres and create new and interesting sounds together while maintaining a fun and inclusive environment for all.
