Daniel Mora, known as Felmax, is a Venezuelan electronic dance music producer and DJ now based in the United States. Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, he moved to Miami, Florida, where he began his music career. Initially known for his work in Miami’s underground Hip-Hop scene, Felmax transitioned to electronic music, gaining recognition with his remix of Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” on Trap Nation.
In 2015, Felmax made his debut at the Life in Color Music Festival. By 2016, he had gained support from major artists like Tiësto, Steve Aoki, and Martin Garrix, who played his tracks at festivals worldwide. His first major collaboration, “Zebras in America” with Graves, was performed by artists like Borgore and Brillz. Felmax toured with trap duo ATLiens and released singles on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, including “Skyline,” which became an anthem for the LA Galaxy soccer team.
Felmax continued to rise with hits like “Dough” and “Chapel,” which gained millions of streams on platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and SoundCloud. He was also featured on BBC Radio’s Annie Nightingale and Beats 1 Radio. In 2017, he released his debut EP Hyperbolic Time Chamber on Spinnin’ Records, which was praised by We Rave You as one of the year’s most comprehensive releases.
