Dirt Monkey is a forward-thinking electronic artist in every sense. Cutting-edge sound design is the name of his game, proven by his constant releases that span a broad spectrum of genres. From dubstep, to house, to drum & bass and beyond – it’s no surprise that Dirt Monkey is celebrated as a producer’s producer and a fan-favorite in the world of bass music.
Since making waves with his 2017 breakout album, ‘Wubula,’ Dirt Monkey has become a driving force in the scene. His music has landed on some of the most respected labels in the game such as Bassrush, Deadbeats, SubCarbon, and his own imprint, 19K.
Dirt Monkey has proven himself a staple at massive festivals including Lost Lands, EDC Las Vegas, Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, and more. From 2021 through 2023, he embarked on multiple headline tours across North America and headlined Denver’s renowned Mission Ballroom twice.
Dirt Monkey closed out 2023 with his ambitious double album, MYCELIUM SOUND, before setting out on his MYCELIUM SOUND TOUR, headlining 2 nights at Colorado’s Mishawaka Amphitheatre and releasing several powerhouse singles throughout 2024.
Dirt Monkey launched into 2025 with his co-headline Chemical Reaction Tour with Friction and swept a crowd of thousands off their feet at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Endlessly honing his craft as a producer and a performer with a packed touring schedule and ever-growing repertoire of new music on the horizon, Dirt Monkey soars into 2025 at the top of his game.
Injecting the West Coast scene with audacious spirit and a kinetic pulse, Smoakland, made up of the dynamic duo Anthony Battaglia and Harrison Hays, are true to the edgy ethos of their Bay Area roots. The pair, who met at Boise State University, merged their shared interests – the smoky charm of cannabis culture and the explosive world of dubstep – to form Smoakland in 2018.
Smoakland’s distinctive sound—a gripping fusion of “Old School” Dubstep—has garnered international acclaim, drawing inspiration from industry trailblazers such as Zeds Dead, Eptic, and Mersiv. This unique groove pays homage to their first love, the Afrojack-spun genre “Dirty Dutch”, an early vibe that kick-started Anthony’s headlong dive into music production in 2014.
Both Anthony and Harry wear their hearts on their sleeves, spinning their personal trials and triumphs into sonic stories. Harry found his muse in a rough patch of life, a transformative period that culminated in his revelation: “Smoakland saved my life.” On the flip side, Anthony found his inspiration in a heart-wrenching personal loss. A life-altering moment at Burning Man, coupled with a perfectly timed call from Harry, sparked the birth of their musical brotherhood.
