Codeko

UK native Ed Clark just completed a masters of science at Cambridge University, but by night he is more widely known as CODEKO. At just 22 years old, the classically trained musician-turned electronic producer had been living a double life: both as a student and touring the world performing at Tomorrowland, Electric Zoo, Life in Color, Mysteryland, plus some of the biggest colleges in North America. CODEKO’s remix of Marshmello's 'Silence' hit #1 on Sirius XM's BPM countdown & reached #1 on the Soundcloud dance charts. Codeko's original 'Say Hi,' ft. Austin Mahone, was debuted at the University of Arizona with 8 shows in 24 hours leading to 12M+ streams. His most recent single 'Woke Up' rung the graduation in the right way: encompassing the chaos of his double life in one song, ‘Woke Up’ summarizes CODEKO’s college experience and tour life during the headlining ‘Semester Abroad Tour’ of North America in Fall 2018. Ed has gained wide popularity as his tracks and remixes have seen success through various media outlets, including his Kygo remix which has over 10 million YouTube views. At still such a young age, his fans and followers are growing at a rapid rate, as each track released seemingly generating more and more notoriety. Other major DJs have taken notice of the up and coming star & Codeko has gained support from some of the most respected and well-known DJs in the electronic dance music world, including The Chainsmokers, Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Cash Cash, Tritonal, and very many more. While most students find it difficult to manage all academic classes, Codeko has shown it is possible to live the life of a rockstar at any cost. He is currently working on a variety of new tracks for his SoundCloud series “Codeko Classified”, upcoming official remixes, and several releases (and E.P.) to come on EMPIRE Records. As Codeko fans eagerly await new music, his previous hits continue to rack in millions of streams with Say Hi generating 10+ million streams and Woke Up generating 2+ million streams on Spotify solely. With this said, several other of Codeko’s hit remixes, such as his remix of MGMT’s Kids, continues to grown on other streaming platforms while earning the #1 spot worldwide on Soundcloud dance charts. Upcoming you can expect to see many more original releases and remixes from Codeko as several remixes and releases are already on the schedule for 2019. Fans can also expect to see a lot more of Codeko taking the stage around the world, and he has already supported Two Friends and Matoma on their headling 2019 North American Tour. Having already raked in millions of plays on his tracks, great radio support, leading playlist placement, lusted-for performance set times and with so much respect and support at the beginning of this blossoming EDM star’s career, it seems that the sky is the limit as Codeko’s popularity and fan base continues to get larger by the day. His sound is unique and original and deeply originates from classical music and the piano, two things he grew up playing and listening to. He is on the pathway to becoming a household name in and outside of the electronic dance music community and 2019 is the year it all happens.
