Prominent hip-hop rising star A$AP Rocky will release his highly anticipated Polo Grounds Music/RCA Records debut album, LONG.LIVE.A$AP on January 15th, 2013. The album will feature the buzz worthy “Goldie” and the Noah “40” Shebib produced hit, “F**kin’ Problems” featuring hip-hop elites Drake, 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar, which was recently most added at urban and rhythm radio and continues to dominate airwaves. Executive produced by A$AP Rocky and A$AP Yams, the LONG.LIVE.A$AP release will also feature guest appearances by ScHoolboy Q, Santigold, Joey Bada$$, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Action Bronson and Big K.R.I.T. A$AP Rocky takes the reins as producer and co-producer on several tracks along with Danger Mouse, Jim Jonsin, Rico Love, Clams Casino, Skrillex, Hit-Boy and more. The standard version of LONG.LIVE.A$AP is packed with 12 tracks while the deluxe album version will include 4 additional tracks, including “I Come Apart” featuring Florence Welch and “Ghetto Symphony” featuring Gunplay & A$AP Ferg. Both versions of the album will be sold on A$AP Rocky’s official web store at asvpxrocky.com. Tour merchandise, bundle packs and vinyl will also be sold at the newly launched shop. On the strength of his 2011 self-released mixtape, LIVE.LOVE.A$AP, and his Polo Ground Music/RCA Records debut single, the Hit-Boy produced “Goldie,” the ambitious and charismatic A$AP Rocky has made a global impact with multiple award nominations from MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) and BET Hip Hop Awards, all enhanced with recognition by national press. The stand-out MC is currently gracing the cover of Complex’s December 2012/January 2013 issue and his sense of style was cited by The New York Times as “…wholly real — it’s how he’s always dressed — and resonates with his indie fan base more authentically than that of other more established musicians.” The hip hop golden child recently wrapped his sold out headlining LONGLIVEA$AP tour and will be the special guest on global superstar Rihanna’s “DIAMONDS WORLD TOUR.” The tour kicks off at Buffalo, NY’s First Niagara Center on March 8th and will conclude on May 8th at Brooklyn, NY’s new complex, Barclays Center. Tickets for the tour are currently on sale at www.livenation.com.
Harlem-born rapper best known as a member of the A$AP Mob. He released his breakout single "Trillmatic," featuring Method Mad, in October 2013. He moved to The Bronx as a teenager and worked at the sneaker store Atmos. He was one of the first rappers to join A$AP Mob.
ASAP Twelvyy (stylized as A$AP Twelvyy), is an American rapper from Bronx, New York City. He is a member of the hip hop group ASAP Mob.
As part of A$AP Mob, A$AP Ant is already renowned for his music whether it’s with the group or solo endeavors, but his passions extend beyond the mic and stage. A love for skateboarding culture in his youth lead him to start Marino Infantry which was initially called Marino Gang. Besides being inspired by early skate vids, friends who skated, and the general skateboarding community of his neighborhood, Addie was also influenced by Pharrell Williams and the N.E.R.D. artist’s ICECREAM brand. The Mob rapper credits Williams for being a pioneer in packaging the worlds of skate, fashion and hip-hop together for the mainstream to digest. His goal for Marino Infantry follows the same blueprint albeit in a more cautious and tactical way. As some of you who pay attention to the streetwear industry might already know, ICECREAM has moved out of the spotlight and its skate team which had Terry Kennedy and Jimmy Gorecki are no longer major players in the world of skateboarding.
Jordan Terrell Carter (born September 13, 1995), better known by his stage name Playboi Carti, is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. His eponymous debut mixtape was released on April 14, 2017. He originally went by the moniker Sir Cartier (stylized as $ir Cartier) when he embarked on his music career in 2011. He originally started rapping as Sir Cartier, releasing a mixtape named Young Misfit under the Sir Cartier moniker on November 12, 2012. He then later changed his name at the age of 17. Recording and performing under the alias Playboi Carti, he first came into prominence in 2015 with his song "Broke Boi". Initially a part of the Atlanta-based Awful Records label, he also performed at the fashion events such as Yeezy Season 5, VFiles and Raf Simons events, with artists such as Lil Uzi Vert and ASAP Rocky. In 2016, he was featured on ASAP Mob's debut studio album, Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends, on the tracks "London Town" and "Telephone Calls", which the latter was released as the second single from the album. Carti's eponymous debut mixtape, which features guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, ASAP Rocky, and Leven Kali, was released on April 14, 2017. The self-titled release gained attention from various music publications, including XXL, Pitchfork, Spin, HotNewHipHop and PopMatters. XXL noted the track "Magnolia" as a standout cut, whereas Pitchfork critic Briana Younger thought that the release "finds a cloudy and economical mood and stays there, but it's Carti's magnetic confidence that turns just enough into plenty." The mixtape sold 28,051 units in its opening week.
Key! is an Atlanta based rapper and co-founder of the hip-hop collective Two-9. Today, Key!’s solo career is abuzz. He’s a feature on two underground hits, “Look at Wrist” (with Father and ILoveMakonnen) and “U Guessed It” (with OG Maco), both of which are representative of Atlanta’s recent wave of minimalism (a trend that feels like an alternative if not a direct response to the intergalactic space-war sound that has characterized Atlanta’s state of production for the last few years).
As the tour DJs for reigning rap crew A$AP Mob, the time J.Scott (aka A$AP Snacks) and A$AP Lou, otherwise known as the duo Cozy Boys, spend off-road comes few and far between. Originally founded by the late Mob patron A$AP Yams, the group’s rising notoriety has expanded into a burgeoning career outside of their Mob brethren, taking the “turn up” to some of the hottest clubs and festivals all over the globe such as Boiler Room, Coachella and Afropunk, to name a few.
